Leaseholder Meeting (23Sept20)

We do hope that you will be able to attend the members’ (ie flat owners) meeting on Wednesday 23 September at 7pm. We’d hoped that we’d be able to meet in person, but the new restrictions on meeting mean that this will now be undertaken by Zoom video link. Joining instructions were sent to you previously but appear at the foot of this letter for your convenience.
This is the first meeting of members of the Leicester House RTM Company for about 18 months; we are keen to hear owners’ views on the service charge budget for 2021, the need to establish a lift refurbishment fund and the impact this will have on owners of apartments on the first floor and above and on the management of Leicester House itself. As you know, this is outsourced on your behalf to Norwich Residential Management.
Owners’ feedback in the past year, for which we are very grateful, has ensured that NRM has:-

  1. added an extra recycling bin in the rubbish store;
  2. commissioned a lift condition report which we will discuss at the meeting on 23 September (this is available on the Leicester House portal);
  3. improved the lift signage
  4. published details of the members’ portal in the entrance halls;
  5. addressed the errors made in calculating the supplemental service charge; and
  6. recently publicised the programme for the refurbishment of the pond.
    The meeting will be a good opportunity to discuss the management of the building and gather views on a potential for the purchase of the freehold. If you are unable to attend on Wednesday 23 September, but have an issue you’d like to raise, please email leicesterhouse@nrmltd.co.uk
